1. Not an emergency service

HamNabz is not an emergency service and must not be used in an emergency. Doctors may not be available immediately, and messages and written consultations are not monitored in real time.

If you or someone else may be in danger, call your local emergency number straight away (for example, 103 for an ambulance or 112 in Tajikistan, or 115 in Iran) [Emergency numbers to be confirmed], or go to the nearest emergency department. Signs of an emergency include:

  • chest pain or pressure, or difficulty breathing;
  • sudden weakness, numbness, drooping of the face or difficulty speaking;
  • severe bleeding, a serious injury, burns or a suspected fracture;
  • loss of consciousness, a seizure, or sudden confusion;
  • severe allergic reaction, poisoning or overdose;
  • heavy bleeding or severe pain in pregnancy, or reduced movements of the baby;
  • a high fever in a young baby, or a child who is very drowsy or difficult to wake;
  • thoughts of harming yourself or others.

2. Online care does not replace in-person care

A video visit or written consultation cannot include a physical examination, and some tests and treatments are possible only in person. A doctor’s advice through HamNabz is based on the information you provide and what can be seen and heard remotely.

Your doctor may advise you to see a doctor in person, to have tests, or to go to a hospital. Please follow that advice. HamNabz is meant to complement, not replace, your relationship with local healthcare providers.

3. The doctors’ role

Doctors on HamNabz are independent professionals licensed in Iran. They are responsible for their medical advice, diagnoses and prescriptions. HamNabz does not provide medical advice and does not interfere in clinical decisions.

We review the professional information and documents each doctor provides before listing them [Verification steps to be confirmed]. A “Verified” badge means that this review was completed; it is not a guarantee of the quality or outcome of any consultation.

A doctor licensed in Iran may not be authorised to practise in Tajikistan or in your country. Their advice may need to be confirmed by a local doctor.

4. No guarantee of diagnosis or result

Medicine is not an exact science. Neither HamNabz nor the doctors can guarantee a particular diagnosis, treatment, recovery or result. A remote consultation may miss signs that an examination or tests would reveal.

5. Prescriptions and medicines

Prescriptions issued through HamNabz are written by the doctor and may name medicines that are made or sold in Iran. They may not be valid in your country, and pharmacies may not accept them. Check with a local pharmacist or doctor before taking any medicine.

Where we help check whether a medicine is available, supply and delivery are confirmed separately and are not guaranteed. Never take a medicine prescribed for someone else, and tell your doctor about all medicines, allergies and conditions.

6. Accurate information is essential

The quality of advice depends on the information you give. Describe your symptoms, history, allergies and current medicines fully and honestly, and share the relevant documents and test results. Tell your doctor if your condition changes or gets worse.

If you do not understand the advice, ask the doctor to explain it again. If an interpreter takes part in your visit, check that you have understood the key points [Interpreter service to be confirmed].

7. Technology limits

Video quality depends on your device, browser and internet connection. Poor audio or video can make it harder for the doctor to assess you. If the connection fails during a visit, try to rejoin; if a safe assessment is not possible, the doctor may advise you to seek in-person care.

8. General information on the website

Descriptions of specialties, conditions and services on the website are general information only. They are not medical advice for your situation and must not be used to diagnose or treat any condition.

9. Questions

For questions about this Disclaimer, contact [Contact email]. For any medical question, speak to your doctor; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.
